Francesca Barnes

Contribution to the Boards:

Francesca brings a wealth of banking and private equity experience to the board gained through an extensive executive career, latterly specialising in turnaround and restructuring of debt and whole businesses. Francesca’s experience provides considerable knowledge in important areas such as customer experience, risk and stakeholder management. 

Until October 2021, Francesca served for 9 years as a non-executive Director on the Board of Coutts & Company, another banking entity within the Natwest Group.  This role enabled Francesca to bring a unique perspective to board discussions.   

Relevant experience:

Francesca started her career at Chase Manhattan Bank and went on to hold a number of senior roles within UBS Investment Bank including Global Head of Private Equity; Head of Strategy and Development; Global Loan Portfolio Manager and Chair of the UBSIB Development Board. 

Francesca currently pursues a portfolio of interests in both the commercial and not for profit sectors.
