NatWest Services (Switzerland) Ltd Management Committee

Lukas Fries joined NatWest Services (Switzerland) Ltd in December 2020 and is responsible for the area of Core Platforms for the Wealth CDIO division. Lukas already spent parts of his career with Coutts from 2010 until 2016 as department head for Application Management Credit and Risk. During his time away Lukas worked for Synpulse Management Consulting in the role of an Associate Partner and Managing Director, where he worked on banking transformation projects and was responsible for the build-up of new locations for consulting and software development in Austria and Slovakia. Lukas’ earlier career steps involved jobs at IBM and Accenture, where he gained experience as software engineer and technical consultant.

Pauline Loohuis

General Manager & Deputy CEO of NatWest Services (Switzerland) Ltd

Pauline Loohuis is General Manager and Deputy CEO of NatWest Services (Switzerland) Ltd. In this role she is responsible for General Services, Health & Safety, Contract Management, Data Agent Services as well as Communication and Engagement for the Swiss entity of NatWest Group. Before joining the organisation in 2012 to manage the internal and external communications for Coutts in Switzerland, Pauline worked for 14 years at Citi where she held various communications and marketing roles.

Pauline holds a Master of Economics degree from Maastricht University in the Netherlands as well as a degree as Master of Advanced Studies Communication Management from Hochschule Luzern.

Renato Melliger

Head Technology Risk & Controls, Wealth CDIO 

Renato Melliger joined NatWest Services (Switzerland) Ltd in June 2014. As Head Technology Risk & Controls, he is responsible to manage key risks such as information and cyber security, IT resilience, change and third-party risks. Renato holds a Master of Science degree in Business Information Systems, a Dipl. Ing. in Computer Science FH and two Certificate of Advances Studies in Information Security. He started his professional career as a software engineer in the UBS Wealth Management area, followed by some years at IBM where he supported NatWest as an external Avaloq consultant. Within the organization Renato transitioned into a project manager role driving Wealth’s anti money laundering systems landscape before he moved into the Wealth Security organisation he heads up since 2017.

Sascha Schnepp

Sascha Schnepp

Head of Strategy, Engineering & Architecture, Wealth CDIO

Sascha Schnepp joined NatWest Services (Switzerland) Ltd in July 2021 and currently serves as the Head of Strategy, Engineering & Architecture for the Wealth CDIO division. Prior to this role, Sascha led the Digital Engineering and API Management teams which have played key roles in building Wealth's API integration platform and Cloud infrastructure. Before joining NatWest, he held CTO roles at Amplitude Capital, a systematic trading hedge fund, and Swissquant, a financial services provider.

Sascha holds a Ph.D. in Computational Physics and High-Performance Computing from the University of Darmstadt in Germany and was an Alexander-von-Humboldt fellow at ETH Zurich.
