NatWest Group today announced the appointment of Shani Unantenne as Head of Funds, a newly created role within their Financial Institutions business and part of the Commercial & Institutional franchise. Shani will join the bank in May.

In her new role, Shani will lead and implement NatWest’s strategy for the Funds sector within the franchise, driving greater engagement with clients and deepening coverage across the sector.

Shani previously held the position of Head of Funds for Europe for over eight years at ANZ Banking Group. She has also occupied a range of management roles at Lloyds across Wholesale Banking, Capital Markets and Financial Institutions.

Based in London, Shani will join NatWest’s Financial Institutions Leadership Team.
