A powerful 7.7 magnitude earthquake has devastated huge areas of Myanmar and the death toll continues to rise.

Disaster Emergency Committee (DEC) charities are already on the ground in affected communities and are working hard to access remote areas.

At NatWest Group, our thoughts are with the people and families whose lives have been affected by the earthquake. We’re helping our customers and colleagues make donations to the appeal through our strategic partnership with DEC.

How we’re supporting the DEC appeal

  • We’re donating £100,000 to the DEC Myanmar Earthquake appeal
  • We’re facilitating customer donations through mobile app giving, Rewards accounts and in-branch donations
  • Customers can also donate directly to the appeal through the DEC website
  • Colleagues can donate to the appeal through a dedicated internal Sponsor Me page
