To recognise World Mental Health Day 2022 we’ve announced a collaboration with JAAQ, an innovative online mental health platform, powered by AI, that will allow colleagues across the organisation to ask leading mental health professionals questions. When a question is asked, colleagues are then presented with video responses from over 40 expert consultants, including David Veale, Professor in Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapies at Kings College and Consultant Psychiatrist, and Dr Erin Brown, Consultant Psychiatrist in Early Intervention in Psychosis.
Jen Tippin, Group Chief People and Transformation Officer said,
“I am proud to be launching this partnership on world mental health day. The wellbeing of our employees is of fundamental importance at any time, but particularly when faced with concerns around cost of living, and the challenges presented by the aftermath of COVID-19.
“My team is focused on ensuring that employees have access to the right resources and support and I know that JAAQ is a tool that many will find invaluable. I am delighted to be working with the JAAQ team to be able to include this as part of the physical and mental wellbeing support that we offer at NatWest Group.”
Danny Gray, Founder of JAAQ added:
“NatWest were one of the very first global brands that we spoke with and from the very start their entire team were bought into the mission, the brand, and everything we are trying to create at JAAQ. Not just about the product, they understood what we are trying to do, and helped us gain validation which is so important and valuable to us.
“On a personal note, my mum used to work for NatWest, so to think that we are working together on something of this scale is amazing for me and my family. I am incredibly grateful for their trust and belief. Together we are going to change the world of mental health, one question at a time”
NatWest Group is among the first corporate organisations to partner with JAAQ. We’ll be embedding JAAQ within our colleague Wellbeing hub, where colleagues already have access to a number of tools to help them with their physical and mental wellbeing. This includes the free, confidential, independent Employee Assistance Programme – available 24/7, a Virtual GP service and the Bank Workers Charity.
JAAQ will be rolled out across the bank from World Mental Health Day on 10 October with the full site launching on 24 November 2022.
